Sorry for my last posting I did not pay attention to the subject line.

Photo #1 January 1976 Below zero temperature four E8's at the former Erie locomotive shop in Binghamton, NY. The NYSW currently operates this facility.

Photo #2 Binghamton, NY October 11, 1975 EL 826 sits in the siding at QD Yard.

That row of buildings along Depot St. Is still there and has been a backdrop for Erie and EL pictures for years.

Yes, but it was originally the DL&W styling for their passenger equipment.

The train with 2513 was NE-74 and left later that day out of YO yard for Utica and the Penn Central connection for New England. Ray Kaminski was the engineer on that train that day. They met a southbound off the Syracuse Branch at Chenango Forks.

It was later that evening that "Saturday Night Live" debuted.

Don Pardoh (SP?) recently passed. I don't recall the first time I saw SNL but I still watch and hope for that incredible comedy that the first few casts provided. Interesting tie in with E-L and dates.
