Nostalgia & History > Is it too late for one more Warbonnet?Date: 08/27/14 21:43 Is it too late for one more Warbonnet? Author: oyw On its well-documented first eastbound run, Santa Fe GP60M 100 sparkles in the morning sunlight as it passes through Colton, CA. On this morning of May 23, 1990, the 100 was the queen of the intermodal fleet and today still continues to serve BNSF, although mainly in local service and now dressed in a far less attractive orange paint scheme. Thanks for the look.

Tom Posted from Android Date: 08/27/14 22:46 Re: Is it too late for one more Warbonnet? Author: obsessedfoamer She had been around Richmond,Ca over the last few months. She's painted in fresh "Swoosh". I've been at the throttle a few times lately. Reminds me of a photo that a friend took about 8 years ago on the Warm Springs Local of me in the 100 when she still sported her Warbonnet!

But cannot close without complimenting the FP45's; in passenger or freight colors nothing looks more awesome.
Rich Date: 08/28/14 01:46 Re: Is it too late for one more Warbonnet? Author: Heath_Tower Ah yes....#100 on it's home railroad, but it was great to see it on Conrail INEL/ELIN to and
from Indianapolis. In March 1992, I travelled with a group to Kingman Canyon, and there was #100 in the setting sun heading east, what a great time to be a railfan! The BNSF biz cars change names so frequently now that I couldn't tell you what the name of that car is today. Date: 08/28/14 13:21 Re: Is it too late for one more Warbonnet?
