The C&S bridge over the UP at Cheyenne, the 'platform' for countless RR pictures, was my perch for this shot. Never had anyone say 'get off the bridge' back then ... but that was then

This is how passenger trains should be run, lots of power and and nice long brace of matching equipment.

Classic photo, thanks for sharing.

Interesting to note that some of us would not take that photo because of the pole line. I wonder how the screeners at Rail-whatever site would have considered that at the time.

Beautiful pic. One forgets that the north side of US 30 at this location wasn't always loaded with chain motels & fast food places.

Great image V! This is one of the short ones...only 4 E's up front and what appears to be 13 cars. A great looking train none the less!
