UP's BST
Author: RplusLJetService

UP's daily train from Bieber, Ca. snakes through the "S" curve just north of Oroville, Ca. back in June of 1986. The train bridged the gap between the BN and the Santa Fe and was known for exotic motive power consists back in the WP days.

Cool shot. I spy an "all-door" boxcar on the head-end, probably picked up from Louisiana Pacific in Crescent Mills.

Sacramento Valley Moulding in Crescent Mills. I used to be the "fleet manager". Collins Pine used to borrow them too, but never L-P. In fact by 1986, the L-P mill was pretty much closed, having never settled their strike from '83.
