Date: 08/31/14 17:26 Re: Whereizit? Author: sliderslider Tony I figured you might have crossed paths with this one. It's around a corner, I got lucky and poked my head around it looking for rails. Here's a closeup.

Date: 08/31/14 20:45 Re: Whereizit? Author: sliderslider Bill it's bolted in place to a pipe that's on the other side of it. I suppose it was a conservation effort of some kind with anti-theft measures to keep it there.
Date: 08/31/14 22:43 Re: Whereizit? Author: MartyBernard One might argue that it is a museum piece. Because of the way it weathered it looks authentic. This brings up a couple of questions.
1. Is it in its original place? Did Western Pacific tracks go buy there? I'm sure it couldn't have survived the construction of those buildings. So did somebody steal it from anther place and put it there? 2. Why would anybody put an artifact there, in what appears to be a public area? Marty Bernard Date: 09/01/14 06:39 Re: Whereizit?
