BN Brush Sub In The 1980's
Author: mojaveflyer

Back in the mid 1980's I was working for BN out of Denver and had little time to do any shooting of the trains I was seeing. I did take time one day to go east of Denver to near Tampa, where a wye and short siding once was and is now the location of an oil loading facility. I caught the Sterling Local westbound at about MP 501 with an ex- CB&Q GP-20 and an ex- Frisco 4 axle GE unit. Lots of change since then!

The quality is not great because these are scans of slides that I shot. Thanks for looking!

This is some neat work. And a caboose too! I always did like the large number on the side of unit and the logo on the cab. Thanks for showing this.

I'd say the quality is just fine!
