A late Ultra Turn returning to Calwa, CA at Exeter, CA on the ATSF Porterville Sub
1. ATSF 3400 is a recently repainted GP39-2. The long closed Exeter Santa Freight depot was eventually moved to an individual's property south of the city.

Judging by the "patch" job on the "ATSF" and "999" on 999740 this was one of the dabs that was sent to the TP&W for a while.

Great stuff.I was always too lazy to chase it when working in Fresno.Seems like it went on duty at 1800 and in the summer you could get a few pics leaving.Bill Webb
