Omaha Union Station
Author: Copy19

I ran across this photo today while thrashing through my photo files for something else when I was delighted to find this long lost treasure. I was commissioned to do this painting of Omaha Union Station with a "baby" 800. I also was asked to put a Burlington train in the picture as well. I don't remember the date I painted this, but it must have been in the early 80s. I don't remember the name of my customer but as I recall he was a doctor in North Platte. If you're out there on TO by chance, I'd love to get and touch and patch up my admittedly faulty records!

A wonderful painting John. You even included the tower, boiler house and other buildings.
Thanks for posting this one. When I get back from Lou's funeral I will take a photo of the painting you gave me and post it.
