Couldn't be anywhere else! Fine scene. Love the appliance clusters and the Tightlock coupler...

A real look of authority. Why can't they make a modern version of this engine type for us these days???????????

A great train powered by a great locomotive and stopped at a great station! Lots of memories for all of us who loved the SP and the classic "Shasta Daylight!" Thanks for sharing...

1965 9/10 were handled by Fs. Probably a year or two earlier

I agree. One of my favorite trips as a teen was a Klamath Falls Turn: #10 from OAK-KFS, hang out for a few hours, then return overnight on #11.

I agree! Oakland to Klamath Falls on the "Shasta Daylight" was the Shasta Route's equivalent of a Los Angeles to Bakersfield turn-around on the "San Joaquin Daylight;" fewer trains to watch but more scenery. (Both were great trips!)
