MK All The Way
Author: GrandeGold

Not your typical SP Roper to Provo turn, the UT04L local on the Rio Grande at Riverton, Utah.

A pair of MK GP40M-2s and an MK5000C lead 129 cars with 7923 feet of train just before sunset on June 15, 1995.

Didn't the 501 end up on the Utah Rwy?

Yes, the UTAH 5001. In 2003 it lost the Caterpillar prime mover in favor of an EMD SD50 series motor and long hood.
