B&O SD50 near Greenup, KY in 1985.

She's partially obscured by the trees but here's SD50 #8589 rolling DEEX gons toward Russell, KY in January 1989. She's coming off the longest tangent on the original C&O main.

Must have been loading DEEX trains down in eastern Kentucky. I remember seeing DEEX DEEX cars on the MGA but they all DEEX power on them. Randy

In the 1980's they ran the DEEX trains with DEEX power at times on both N&W and C&O.
