Sherman Hill in the Winter
Author: qnyla

There is cold, and then there is Wyoming cold. A couple wind chilled frigid images from the late 1980s/early 1990s.

1. At the time I hated the solid sets of SD40-2's.

2. Yellow MP C36-7's at Hermosa.

3. SD60M's at Hermosa Tunnel.

Brrr...The pair of yellow "MP" C36-7's is a pretty rare shot! Very nice, thanks for sharing.

Love the shot at Buford (#1) most, though all are wonderful. I miss that signal bridge a lot.

Great photos John.
Although I ran east to North Platte I would occasionally slip up on Sherman to take photos and observe trains. In my years here in Cheyenne I have seen all sorts of weather.

Nice shots all! The only thing that could make #3 any better is if the power had been Centennials!(This is a private joke between us Johns).
