AMTK 118 is at the BN coachyard in CHI with the Soo Line facility next door.

Interesting that the loco in the newest shot (1976) is still in the former owner's paint. Neat pictures.

#3 is the first time I've ever seen any unit patched for Amtrak. Interesting.

In the early years most E units were patched. I have slides of C&O/B&O, BN silver(x-CBQ), L&N, RF&P, SCL and UP, all patched under the cab windows. Interestingly I have many PC black and BN green with the white hockey stick and none of those are patched.
