Nostalgia & History > UP-CP: What might have been

Back in the day we became very chummy with our counterparts up in Calgary. We rode each others trains, visited the respective headquarters and became friends. I didn't know where all of that was going, but it was fun while it lasted. On one of those trips this t-shirt turned up featuring the UP wings with the CP beaver. Voila! The Flying Beaver.

Why, when beavers fly! Very nice! (By the way, it's "voila" not "viola", but a very nice bumbling flourish anyway, as the only way to introduce a flying beaver is by saying "Viola"!)
