Nice captures! Didnt the SP U50's have Wabco E2-B1 horns?

Awesome! Don't think I've ever seen a photo of the 6946 (the last Centennial built, now in WP Museum at Portola) in regular service.

Actually, those units had many more than just "double motors", i.e. eight motors.

Wow, very nice. That original U.P. U50 in 1976 was definitely near the end of its life, saw many headed south to Kansas City for scrapping while in drivers ed during the summer of '76 alongside the Beatrice Branch. As far as that goes, the U50C's didn't last much longer either. Nice photos, loved those double diesels on the U.P..
