Nostalgia & History > N&W Chicago Passenger Trains, March 30, 1971Date: 12/19/14 12:42 N&W Chicago Passenger Trains, March 30, 1971 Author: MartyBernard 1. Train 113 departing Dearborn Station, Chicago. A L&N E-unit is lurking in the background.
2. Train 121, "The City of Decatur", departing Dearborn Station. GP9s 505 and 506 were steam generator equipped. These are of course ex-Wabash trains. Enjoy, Marty Bernard Edited 2 time(s). On Fridays after they unloaded at Orland they would run the train down to Decatur (I think) for weekend servicing.
