Love the contrast between dark and light in this shot...You can't miss Green River's water tower...Shot on my first ride on the RGZ SLC-DEN and return the next day...we got off the train when it was over and we both felt like we were still on the train the next 24 hours..in Nov. 1976...Steve

Rio Grande Western RR conductors and brakemen on the RGZ were based out of Salt Lake City and worked between Salt Lake and Helepr. Helper based engine crews worked to and from Salt Lake.
