I had to look twice, but didn't the first train have a couple of Penn Central units leading? I didn't know there was a power pool between SCL and PC. Nick Tharalson, Marion, IA Date: 01/23/15 09:26 Re: Florida Rush Hour Author: m1bprr ntharalson Wrote:

Date: 01/23/15 14:51 Re: Florida Rush Hour Author: RailThunder I'm very thankful you shared these with us. Videos of SCL passenger trains are very few and these were fun to watch! Thanks again.
Date: 01/23/15 19:54 Re: Florida Rush Hour Author: Atlpete Great video, candidly that's some of the best 8mm footage I've viewed; sharp, clean, no "flicker", no color smear, and good tone with no shift.
Very nice; I loved that South Wind too, note by '69 the PRR and L&N contribution to the consist is down to nothing, except the pool E unit's. Even those are not-for-long as PC shortly killed the through service, cutting it back to a cross platform transfer at Louisville to the connecting coach remnant to Chicago. One wonders if this provided any "lift" to the City of Miami's ridership. Thanks again. Date: 01/24/15 21:51 Re: Florida Rush Hour Author: railrider Ed, That was wonderful! I was often trackside for the morning rush hour in the last 60's. It was a great show. If you have more Florida movies please post them!
