Nostalgia & History > Flares...on the moveDate: 01/23/15 12:07 Flares...on the move Author: biff From the VHS-C tapes. Here are a few "flares on the move". I don't know the exact location of some of the scenes due to a leaky pipe that damaged my log book. The Wisconsin Southern's were all taken between Duplainville Wisconsin and Milwaukee, July 1989. Both SP shots were at Loring Ks, July 1994. Santa Fe 5358 is at Olathe Ks, July 1994. UP 954 was at Woodland Jct. Illinois, July 1993. The other two Santa Fes were out west of KC, July 1994, I think they were a few miles east of Lebo Ks.

Minor nitpick. Wisconsin Central. I'm thinking the meet was in Waukesha, although I'd have to get a local to verify that. Thanks for posting. Nick Tharalson, Marion, IA Date: 02/19/16 20:44 Re: Flares...on the move Author: MILW16 ntharalson Wrote:

Train coming out of the siding (and small yard) would be southbound. Great video. Thanks. |
