All of these scenes were shot on what was Conrails line between Buffalo and Binghamton NY in the late 80's, early 90's. None of the trains were Conrail but were D&H/NYSW which had trackage rights to Binghamton as a result of the Conrail formation.

So this is probably one of the 6 or 7 exSOU SD45's in a block of 15 GTI purchased in the mid 80's from NS. The other 8-9 were of N&W heritage.
