Here is some Wednesday Warbonnet footage from my KC area Vacation July 1996.

BNSF 8254 at Hardin Mo.
SF 652 at Orrick Mo.
SF 246 at Camden Mo.
SF 630 at Camden Mo.
SF 207 at Kansas City Mo.
SF 699 at Olathe Ks.
SF 543 at Courtney Mo.

Thank you very much for posting these shots. I spent a great deal of time at each of those spots. Some great memories.

As usual, biff, great stuff!!

If I may, well, I will anyway, some additional information and a correction.

#1 is westbound while #2 is eastbound. The crossing these were shot at has been
closed, making life a lot easier for railfans.

#3 and #4 are both eastobunds, and the wig wag in #4 is long gone.

#5 is not Henrietta. Track through that town is straight as a taut string. This was
taken just west of CA Junction where the now NS and BNSF tracks split. About the same
spot as #3 but the train is heading in the opposite direction.

#6 is at Santa Fe Junction, eastbound leaving Kansas and entering Missouri.

#7 I believe is a westbound at the south edge of town.

#8 is an eastbound.

Great stuff! What camera were you using back then to get such great resolution?
