S P 1958--Schellville , Ca.

While driving from home in Napa Ca , I would go to S F over the GG bridge and come upon equipment at Schellville.

# 1 May 1958

#2 April 1959---that was just before getting new Tr-3 Triumph !!!

These are both at road crossing SR-12/121 now. At the wye.

The guy in an apron next to heavyweight pass.car in the left frame of photo 2 leads me to believe that must've been the Schelville beanery I heard once existed. Glad to see it captured on film.

I wonder if that's Admiral Pernelli in #1? Had forgotten the Baldwins had plain bearings. I guess SP saved money there just like they saved money lining tunnels with timber.

I believe there is a photo of the car at Schellville in Signor's Western Division book (if I find out otherwise when I get home and look at the book, I'll post a correction).
