GP30 Thursday - Still Earning Her Keep

Heart of Georgia GP30M, built in August, 1963 as C&O GP30 #3020, later became CSX #4215, Ogeechee RR #4215 and Georgia Midland #4215 still earning her keep in Cordele, GA last week.

It's what Chessie System designated their GP30's after rebuild.

From Wikipedia...

The Chessie System rebuilt its GP30 units into GP30Ms [2], and they lasted with CSX into the mid-to-late 1990s, long after Seaboard System GP30s had been sold, retired and scrapped, or turned into road slugs[3].

Yeah, looks that way. That was the Georgia Midland paint scheme.
