SP at the hump
Author: Fallbridge4449

A couple shots of SP Eugene hump yard back in 1959. Hopefully some of the SP fans can identify what kind of locomotive this is for myself and us. The person in picture #2 by the way would be my grandfather (John L. Sheldrake)--no wonder I like trains so much. Thanks for looking and have a great week.

Think it's one of the AS616s.

5206 was a Baldwin DRS-6-6-1500 according to http://espee.railfan.net/spdrs-6-6-1500.html

Which I found through The Diesel Shop, http://www.thedieselshop.us/

When ever I have a roster question on a diesel, The Diesel Shop is the place I start.
