Author: Bob3985 You know, I believe that if it wasn't for the EMD's invention of the GP-7 I don't believe that the Rock Island's Illinois Division could have existed. Catching a GE on the point of a freight out of Chicago was enlightening.

Author: sp7878 The 1291 was a regular running all four directions out of El Reno, OK, and was also used often on the Memphis to Tucumcari passenger train. The 1291 and 1289 were brought over to Oklahoma City to power a Metropolitan Opera special, and before the train departed the trucks were re-silvered.
