It looks like you were headed up the road to that lookout at Rock Creek for the second shot. That lookout was somewhat cramped for camping, but a buddy and I made do back in '81. The view we had of the river and the ROW was great, not to mention the colorful doses of Perlman green, orange and silver parading by.

I really like photo #6, could be a PR shot, love that last shot as well. A question on the second motor in photo 6, it appears to have a 5 digit number or is that a 'B' unit with the B in front of the standard 4 digit number?
