Nostalgia & History > Longview Woods Line and CLC Photos

Just a heads-up to the Logger side of the Hobby that I've added a few 1980's photos from Washington state of the Weyerhaeuser Woods Line and the Columbia and Cowlitz C-415's to my PBase collection of photos. I certainly wish I had taken more photos of the Loggers and the Mills that are now gone. I also have a Chehalis Western Gallery in there that I've added a few more photos. #1 shows Weyerhaeuser Woods Line #310 at a grade crossing near the south Toutle River bridge.
#2 shows CLC 71 and 702 approaching the high bridge over the Cowlitz River.

Beautiful shots that can't be repeated. Would LOVE to see what you have on the Chehalis Western!

Scanned an early Chehalis Western photo last week so I'll post it. Somebody who was on TrainOrders a few years ago painted the units into the Chahalis Western scheme, very cool scheme. Hope you guys like the photos, it was a lot of fun chasing this stuff back in the day, kinda my version of it's all crap now.

Where is it? I thought they all went to Weyerhaeuser in Louisiana or someplace like that.

The line in photo 2 is now embargoed and behind where the train was are now 40-50 or more stored empty centerbeam flat cars, seemingly all AOK initialed.

She works for the Burlington Junction Railway in Burlington, IA and still runs every weekday! IIRC, she went to Weyerhauser, then to the Mt. Hood Scenic before coming to Iowa.
