Not too many things make me wish I were older today, however knowing I was only 5-6 years old when these were taken makes me know how many prime railfanning years I "missed" in those formative years.

I agree, Marty.  Thanks for the wonderful photos.

What are the trucks under GP-35 2666 in the 3rd photo?  They don't look like the standard EMD truck.

The Southern Railway traded in some Alco units, and specified the GP35s come with the remanufactured Alco trucks & GE traction motors. Some other railroads did that also.
