A Few SP at Niles Depot

I caught various action at Southern Pacific's Niles, CA depot in 1977-78.

Great pics. Love the first one with the contrast and the green hills. Now, is that the depot that is in downtown Niles today and has it not been moved at all? I don't know Niles too well.

That was an SP train on the wye but I seem to remember that it did not come down through Niles Canyon but was using the wye to turn its train.

Yes it is the depot in downtown Niles.  It was moved, then moved back (albeit backwards) about ten years ago.
