Fifthy years ago this past March 1st, March 1, 1965 Old Denver & Rio Grande Western RR passenger train 1 and 2 the Royak Gorge, made its final run between Grand Junction and Salida, CO via the Tennessee Pass.  Old D&RGW RR conductors and brakemen on that passenger train were based both out of Grand Junction and Salida and worked between GJ and Salida. Grand Junction based and Salida based engine crews worked to and from Minturn, CO. That passenger train did had a Vistra Dome car.
