I am looking for informtion on the trains that went over the pass between Tolland and  Winter Park, mostly particularly the accidents.

Seek out a copy of the book, "Rails That Climb.". Pretty sure it's out of print but it may be available on ebay or from rail book purveyor, Ron's Books.

There are fascinating stories about the line's construction, weather hardships, and mishaps (including derailments).

Another good book is The Giants Ladder.  It too is out of print, but has some great photos and stories.

Another Good one is Forrest Crossen's little book on the Moffat.
