Author: BAB Have a friend who grew up there as his father was in charge as I remeber of the section gang in that area. He told of riding the steamers to and from there along with loosing a speeder in a tunnel to one of them. No one died except the speeder. As he told the story, my pappy told me not to jump until it almost hit the speeder that way everything went by after it hit. Holly Hill is his name by the way.

Kent in CArmel Valley Date: 07/03/15 11:40 Re: Wicopee, Oregon. Author: TCnR Interesting mix for an Intermodal, or a freight, not sure which. Puts a date on the reefers as well.
t4p. Date: 07/03/15 15:16 Re: Wicopee, Oregon. Author: PCX I sure miss seeing the old SP "Golden Pig Service" trailers such as the one shown on this video. Seems like those trailers were on every SP intermodal you saw back in the 1980s-mid-'90s period, but all are long gone now. Think the last time I saw one of those vans was on a UP intermodal train back in the early 2000s. Thanks for the video.
