Just above the tender is an outline that looks like a yardmaster's tower. If so, then it wouldn't be SLO. What do you think?

Looks like Wat. Jct. or maybe SJ.  Not SLO. Never had a tower. Also track in picture doesn't add up.

It does look like it could be a tower, but the print is marked SLO ?

That isn't SLO, Chris. I hink the others are right with WJCT. Maybe Art was tired that day he marked it......

Regardless of location it's a fine vintage photo and thank you for posting it. I love the cab forward peeking in from left frame. Hope you have some more like this one to share.
