By this date all trackage in Shirley had been abandoned. However, this depot had once been strategically located at the crossing of NYC’s Anderson - North Vernon Line with their Indianapolis - Richmond Line. The depot faced the latter. In case you are wondering, the sign over the door reads “MUSEUM”. Bing and Google satellite images indicate the depot still exists in sound condition.
