Rock Island U-boat 249 for Maroon Monday

Browsing my Rock pictures, this one at Armordale in November 1968 stood out as the only
one that had reflectorized lettering, nose stripes and a full body maroon treatment. It stood out
among its yellow nosed brothers on hand that day.
