Actually it was not that uncommon on rush hour trains during the transition from single level to bi-level cars. Maybe I can did up some more. Marty Bernard Date: 08/04/15 18:17 Re: CB&Q Inbound Morning Express Dinkey Author: Atlpete I seem to remember a lot of off peak trains running with those HW converted combine power cars in the early sixities, in fact for the three odd times I road the Q to Brookfield or Downers Grove then it was the "norm. " I recall seeing three of them in the Witchita Falls, TX museum many years later looking pretty much like they did in the early sixites.
