Classic Chicago commuter shot.  Couple?? years earlier I would  the last Milwaukee Road Old commuter cars on line to Elgin.  As I remember, at the end there was one large set left which ran at rush hour.  We would get on in River Grove to go to friends relative in Itasca.  Sometimes we might not see conductor of fumble around with change, conductor would see we were just for the ride on the last car and let us skate.
