A Q Thirties Thursday

CB&Q GP30s 943 and 967 at Prescott, WI on the Mississippi River on July 3, 1964.  Built in 1962.  943 became BN 2220 and 967 became BN 2244.

Thanks Steve.  This was a poor slide to project because it was so backlit that this side of the GP30s was in deep shadow. A little photo-editing and poof, the shadow is gone.  I considered removing the damned wires and pole but decided they really belonged there.

Orange-colored cars are probably Q M-O-W cars, maybe..

Are the cab sides different widths on these units?
The engineers side accomodates only one seat, the fireman's has two seats.
