Need a little UP help identifying

I was looking at this picture taken in 1999 of this UP GP38-2 in the Newhall Yard in San Jose (Santa Clara) and can not seem to
find it on any rosters as 2405.  George Andrews told me this was a MKT unit but I can find nothing in print.

What number would this be today because this number would be a SD60M.

Was renumbered to UP 905 according to Don Strack's web site.  http://utahrails.net/up-diesel-roster/up-diesel-roster-15.php#gp38-3-900

I looked back at several old UP roster books, and I think it was rebuilt by MPI, and leased to UP .  It appears to be an old GP-38, updated to a GP 38-2.
