Dave, I am advised that the spur was "Akel's Giant warehouse," though what Akel's Giant was all that time ago, I have no idea.

It was a regional grocery chain in the southern tier.  The Akel family ran it.  And sold the chain to Weis Markets in 2009.

Lasted into 2009

WOW !!! 1970 and i'm VERY SURPRISED to see welded rail anywhere on E-L since any images i ever saw of their RofW had nothing but stick rail ...

They installed quite a bit of welded rail after 1968.  Even started putting some on the DL&W side towards the end.  Since the DL&W side didn't see much traffic between 1961 and 1972, it was in pretty good shape when they started shifting the traffic that way in late 1972.
