Nostalgia & History > More for GG1 SeasonDate: 08/31/15 12:53 More for GG1 Season Author: MartyBernard These three photos were taken June 8, 2012 at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.
1. Old Rivets. Has she been moved inside out of the weather? 2. Highly (overly ? ) polished 4935 inside. Enjoy, Marty Bernard Date: 08/31/15 16:26 Re: More for GG1 Season Author: patd3985 Gotta love those GG-1s! Thanx Marty! I as wondering... Why can't they run any of the GG-1s?.. Is it an electic overhead problem (voltage change etc.), or are they gutted and stuffed? They rebuild other locomotives! Why not these? Just curious.

GG-1's at museums have had their transformers removed due to PCB's. Not likely to ever see one operate again. Date: 08/31/15 23:33 Re: More for GG1 Season Author: Seventyfive That E44 next to the GG1 looks really sharp too! Thanks for the excellent and interesting photos.
