many old friends with EFT (empty fuel tank) on them. We know that 6071 made it out to Monticello, and a pair of SD40A's to the C&I in northern Indiana. Any other survivors? I took these photos, and left back home towards St. Louis knowing that the mainline of Mid America would never seem the same... I always thought the SD40A's had a mean profile with the extended frame and long tanks. IC/GM&O/ICG and CN got their money's worth out of these dudes. Was sorry to see them go.
