EL Freight Eastbound Along the Susquehanna
Author: aehouse

A pair of Fs lead an Erie Lackawanna freight eastbound along the Susquehanna River through Red Rock Curve at Great Bend, Pa.  It's May 1971, and this is the former Erie Railroad mainline.

Art, I've noticed sometimes you don't get a lot of comments on the classic EL shots you've been posting lately around the Binghamton area.  Just want to express my appreciation and hope you keep them coming.  Thanks.

Many thanks, Steve.  I know this an SP-centric forum, so I don't expect a whole lot of feedback.  I do appreciate yours.  I also post these images to the Erie Lackawanna FAcebook page, where there is a most appreciative audience.

Thanks, again,

Art
