Author: 3rdswitch

.  .  .  eleven years ago this week Oct '04 flew to Boston and spent a week running around New England. A couple weeks early for color unfortunately but lots of other colorful things to see.
top: Green Mountains Bellows Falls, VT to Chester and return tourist train was climbing out of Bellows Falls area.
middle: Vermont Railway Rutland to Bellows Falls train was departing Clarenden, VT.
bottom: An eastbound Guilford train on old Maine Central trackage was entering near Lewiston, ME.

Three neat shots. All very different.  But the first gets my vote with a big wave from the conductor and a size comparison with the underpass.

All three beauties, JB.  The Vermont Railway red cuts so perfectly with the greenery there.
