I was cleaning out some old file boxes and found my original videotape of this Torch Train runby so will see how it comes out on Trainorders.

Video clip of 2002 Olympic Torch Train (Union Pacific 2002) in Wichita, KS on January 11, 2002
Location: Wichita, KS at the Murdock Street crossing (St. Francis Hospital in background);
heading southbound on Union Pacific tracks going around curve to access BNSF-UP joint-use tracks.

I was at the old Union Station in Wichita when it stopped. As I remember, there was a problem keeping the flame alive on the cauldron car.

That is the understatement of the week.   Steve Lee rode the train just to try and deal with it.
