Nostalgia & History > A Surprise Roster ShotDate: 11/24/15 15:49 A Surprise Roster Shot Author: MartyBernard This shot had all the trappings of being a dud -- back lit and mostly in a shadow. I was shooting a 35mm SLR. I was careful not to let the sun screw up my light reading. And the resulting slide was slightly passable. When I scanned it last week I thought some photo editing would help. Well it did to my delight. I now think it is a neat photo, lens reflection, May flower, and all. Hope you do too.
If you don't recognize her, she was Union Pacific C30-7 2514 built in May of 1980 and later renumbered to UP 508. I found her at Chrome Locomotive, Silvis, IL on April 11, 1988 with at least her batteries missing. Enjoy, Marty Bernard Edited 5 time(s). Last edit at 11/24/15 16:03 by MartyBernard.
