Anbel's focus is on small range railway equipment and sales of used and new equipment. 2. ANBEL 903, a NW2. 3. Brownsville and Rio Grande International Railroad numbers 147 and 184 were both SW9s. I am pretty sure that if ANBEL is still in the refurbishing biz, then it has moved elsewhere. All the older yellow BRG switchers that were still lingering around the shop area finally disappeared around 2000. No more passenger cars or non BRG power can be found hanging around the shop area. I worked for them for awhile inthe early 90's and late 80's delivering passenger cars to Mexico. Corporate office was in Houston. They were also working on an aborted commuter rail project in Houston as well...
