Part 1ne

East Gold Run, CA
1985?

SP rolled out the whole fleet for this one!
I'm thinking this was 1985 because that year the game was at Stanford in Palo Alto, so a westbound train over Donner fits.

Wow, what timing with the wig-wag! or was it just stuck?

Otherwise, wasn't it nice how SP luminare found the time and expense to drag out their their worn out "Octopus suits" to "promote business" and otherwise reward themselves for a job well done as the railroad disintegrated all around them? We employees were always inspired by such events, especially since train length does matter.

Sorry about the bad vibes - what does Mr. Kirkland put in his coffee, anyway?

It should be working. Train was still in ringing circuit.
Your old frriend Bill Fisher should have explained that to you.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to give the impression I thought it had somehow stuck like that (I can't imagine such a thing even being possible!)
I meant I was amused I'd snapped all those photos catching it in nearly the same position- something I hadn't been trying to do.
