NJ Passaic local man dies-was maimed as child by accident

He was climbing on cars in Dundee while the EL drill was working. Very sad reminder of how unforgiving rail mishaps can be.

I remember when this happened - I grew up in Garfield NJ just a few miles away from this location.  In fact, we would walk through this "Dundee siding" on occasion.  I also went to one of those basketball games all the NBA stars played in to raise money for Sammie - it was quite an event during that time.  However, a sad story all around.
