Nostalgia & History > Bethlehem, PA engine terminal - - 50 years agoDate: 02/10/16 07:25 Bethlehem, PA engine terminal - - 50 years ago Author: NKP715 In Oct of '66, spent time in the Bethlehem area, and stopped by the
engine terminal several times. Lots of variety, as you'd expect back then. FM Trainmasters from both CNJ and RDG. Some six month old L&HR Alco C-420's, along with the last of their RS-3's (most had been traded in to Alco). The real find, and what I was looking for, were several of the CNJ baby-face Baldwins. Here's some of the photo's from those visits. Hope you enjoy this look back, just shy of half a century ago. Very nice. My first time there was about 12 years later - still amazing stuff but none of what you saw.
